Vitario Mattress Meets Individual Sleep Needs

Monday, April 7th, 2008
Everyone is different, that’s why they need their own personalized mattress. This fact has been the inspiration behind the research and development of the Vitario mattress. Today the Vitario mattress was shown to the east coast furniture market at High Point, North Carolina and will be available to see through April 13th.

Through an array of innovations oriented to the future, Vitario is meeting the demands of the modern, human sleep culture, with it’s individual comfort needs and flexibility to change.

This technology and research includes not only the Proschlaf stamp technology, but in addition special orthopedic databases which are built upon the empirical data gathered from thousands of users.

After measuring important body characteristics (height, weight, shoulder width, waist, hips) your personalized mattress support profile will be calculated using the Proschlaf database and configured to your bodies personal comfort and support needs. This way the mattress will be designed specifically to support your spine, from the previously recorded and analyzed data simulations. This enables the mattress to become a reliable health instrument for you, and provide you with a good nights sleep and optimal nightly regenerative sleep.

If you haven’t yet investigated the Vitario mattress, we recommended that you contact Spalding or Vitario to get some more information and find out how this technology could change your nights forever.

Thanks to the Spalding and Proschlaf teams for bringing solutions for the future to us today.

Vitario Mattress Debuts at High Point Market

Monday, April 7th, 2008

High Point, NC — Spaldin Sleep Systems is making its second debut this year with a unique foam mattress designed to let sleepers create a customized, individual sleep system to match their comfort needs and improve their health.

Spaldin’s Vitario mattress is an innovative and unique concept that is already changing the sleep culture in Europe. Larry Craver, director of North American sales for the company will be displaying this revolutionary sleep system at the High Point Market in North Carolina April 7th - April 13th.

The Vitario foam mattress is customized with 24 slots or channels into which are inserted round foam “stamps” of varying densities. The ability to change the configuration of the foam stamps changes the feel of the mattress to create this truly customized comfort level available only with the Vitario mattress.

Vitario was developed using research conducted by an Austrian medical institute, Institut Proschlaf. Institut Proschlaf’s design enables individuals to create the ergonomic configuration that is best suited for their body type.

Vitario is ultimately covered with either a visco (memory foam) or latex comfort top layer. Air circulation in the bed is promoted through air channels in the Vitario mattress. The research from Europe is brought to stores that sell the bed using a kiosk into which retailers put customer information allowing them and the consumer to determine what Vitario configuration is best.

It is exciting to see this new Sleep Technology coming out of Austria and making it’s way to the United States. We want to wish the team at Spaldin and Institut Proschlaf great success in their debut at the High Point Market.

Information on the Vitario mattress is available online at www.vitariomattress.com in English and www.vitariomatratze.com in German.

New Website Worth Watching

Monday, February 11th, 2008

Recently the website InternationalSleepFoundation.org has come on the scene. It is getting a quick start and looks serious about becoming an authority sight not only in English but other languages as well. With sleep being one of Americas top problems, it will be nice to have a good international site that brings sleep information sleep resources to the people in multiple languages. That is a momentous task, but they seen determined to accomplish it. We want to say good work for taking on the task and we’ll be watch and if possible contributing down the road to help do our part.  We have seen several website start up looking like the were going to be robust in bring sleep  related information and sleep technologies and resources to the internet and even though they area still around they seem to have fizzle out.  For now, we want to encourage the International Sleep Foundation to keep running with the ball. It is definitely a well needed theme in the blogging and internet industry for all of us who can’t sleep at night.  so International Sleep Foundation don’t get caught snoozing out there.  and good luck with your task.
