Sleep - Bed - Health

Health, man’s most highly valued possession, will influence the consumer behavior of the future in increasing ways, because our modern life greatly effects our bodies, it makes it necessary to use all our resources of physical and mental regeneration. A good nights sleep is one of the most basic requirements of human life. Sleep is required according to a completely determined order. It is required that all parts of the body be given a sufficient amount of time for rejuvenate. Only by sufficient rejuvenation, our bodies operational sequence of undisturbed sleep is able to maintain long-term health.

Modern man is exposed however to influences and circumstances, which increasingly threatens the undisturbed operational sequence of sleep. Therefore in medicine we find increased attention to this topic. Research results show that the quality of sleep at night has a strong correlation to our physical environment at night. By that we mean mattress and pillow. Mechanically negative influences not only contribute thereto but also to the fact that our sleep is therefore substantially less restful, but also contribute to problems in the body such as in discs in the spinal column, weakening the musculature and therefore affecting the bodies ability to carry it’s own load, which can significantly decrease the well-being and thus the abilities.

Now and into the future, more and more people are learning to turn to Sleep Technology organizations to physically correct their sleep environment. For responsible medical and health care professionals the logical conclusion is to merge the understanding of this important range of topics with the field of medical overall. More critically For the consumer, this is an important reason to regard and put a stricter measure on the purchase of new bed equipment and related products.

With this in mind, the Pro Sleep Technology Institute (Institut ProSchlaf) of Austria, created for the first time a mechanism which itself illuminates the concerns of this group of topics from a scientific and medical perspective and which places in the forefront all the realizations and interests of institutions of modern sleep culture.
